Dr. Cox is a veterinarian at Glendale Veterinary Hospital. She is the Founder of the National Wildlife Centre, and teaches wildlife medicine at the University of Guelph.

Meet Dr. Cox | DVM, Medical Director

Dr. Sherri Cox is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), and the founder of the National Wildlife Centre. She was the Associate Dean and Chief Operating Officer of the Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre, where she oversaw the new design and implementation of the Animal Cancer Centre, the Primary Health Care Centre, and the initial design of the Companion Animal Specialty Hospital.

She currently teaches wildlife medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Guelph, the National Wildlife Rehabilitator's Association, and at the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council. From birds to bears, and mice to moose, including helping many endangered species, Dr. Cox has treated everything. She is dedicated to protecting Canadian wildlife as an integral part of our environment. She was even featured in an episode of the television show "Hope for Wildlife".

Outside of her wildlife work, Dr. Cox has worked at a companion animal emergency hospital and has provided veterinary business consulting to companion animal practices. She is looking forward to meeting you and your dog or cat at Glendale Veterinary Hospital.
