Our team at Glendale Veterinary Hospital makes every effort to provide emergency and urgent veterinary care during our regular clinic hours.

However, it is always best to contact us in advance, if possible, to ensure that we are able to provide your animal with the care they need and prepare for their arrival in the case of more serious emergencies.

The emergency service at Glendale Veterinary Hospital operates similarly to a human doctor's office. It can be unpredictable, and you may have to wait unless your pet is in serious or life-threatening distress.

It simply isn't possible for our team to predict what cases we will see and when they will arrive. We respectfully ask that you call ahead to find out whether we can provide emergency care for your pet.

Some veterinary emergencies require intensive overnight care. At Glendale Veterinary Hospital, if this is the situation with your pet, we will help you arrange for appropriate overnight veterinary hospitalization. Your pet's well-being is our top priority.

Our veterinarians in Caledon are primarily experienced with cats and dogs, but may also see other small animals, pocket pets, or some exotics (hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits), in serious situations. Please call ahead to find out if we are able to care for your sick or injured pet.
